Be Present to Pain

Hi, I'm Elynn Light, Integrative Healer, and I've been working with people with chronic pain for over 40 years. I've had a journey of pain in my life, and I want to encourage you that if you have chronic pain, one of the most valuable tools that you can implement for yourself is to learn to be present to pain.

As a human, it's an instinctual survival to want to move away from pain, not feel pain, to get away from pain as soon as we can. However, with healing, it's counter -intuitive. We want to learn to be present, to feel, to be curious, and to allow the pain, and that presence actually does the healing.
